The E90 3 series BMW
The 3 series BMW has been a popular car for decades with the E30, E36, E46 and previous older versions. We have a few more future versions that have released after but this post is for the E90 (E9X) 3 series BMW. This model was released from 2006 to 2013. It was offered as a sedan (E90), coupe (E92) or convertible (E93).
There were various color options but the ones seen more frequent are black, white, light blue, navy blue and charcoal grey. Every once and a while you see burgundy color code. The interior was offered in tan, black, coral red, saddle brown, chestnut brown and more. Wood grain was still offered and with thicker interior pieces bringing the luxury appearance to a higher level. The engine was offered with the N52, successor to the M54 E46 engine, both 6 cylinder bases. It was also offered in a 335i turbo version as well as M3. Overall the E9X is a great luxurious esthetic upgrade to its E46 predecessor. Although the reliability of the E46 can’t be compared the E90 carries on the 3 series legacy with an updated engine and body style that is in a league of its own.
