DJ Envy of Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club has been throwing car shows for the past 2-3 years with each one getting better. Usually, the events are held in New Jersey but this year it was held in Atlanta, Georgia. He named it “Carchella” and with that name the excitement grew, it was more than just a car show, it was an event.
Occurring on biweekly Thursdays in Glen Cove, NY is AutosTrade. Autostrade is a event that happens every summer bringing together a luxury/ exotic gathering of vehicles being displayed on a closed off section of the town. Years ago when I first embraced the automotive community with my 95 civic sedan I was introduced to CCW wheels (Complete custom wheels). At the time me and a few comrads only seen them on a red EJ Honda civic coupe from California on google or Honda-tech.com. The glossy, big lipped, creative designed wheel sparked desire only to find out rumors that the wheels cost 5 grand. At the time we were the only three people I’ve ever heard of speaking of or mentioning the wheel amongst one another. Far out of our financial grasp and with the friendship/ or communication at a distance the current hottest thing we raved upon was now forgotten up until 2013.
Many generations of Nissan have been produced with sports car features or capability of being modified from the appearance to the performance. The 240 SX produced in the 90’s is a two door coupe with a rear wheel drive design Double over head cam engine assembly. Continue reading
